Individual consultations are an opportunity to talk through questions specific to your child. Families seek support for a variety of reasons including:
-Pre & postpartum support
-Setting limits and boundaries
-Preparing for a transition
-Choosing a school
I begin by listening. My goal is to learn about your child and family and gain an understanding of the unique strengths (yes, strengths) you each bring to the challenges you face. Combined with my knowledge of child development and experience in the field, this information allows me to collaborate with you to answer your questions and, if appropriate, create a clear plan of action tailored to your needs. I view my work as a cooperative process, so I offer ongoing check-ins to support you along the way.
Consultations may take place via phone or in person.
As parents and caregivers of young children, we are often each other's greatest resources. I facilitate regular in-home meet-ups of up to 6 families at a time, with or without the children.
As a facilitator, I create a supportive space for everyone to share their experiences and concerns while offering myself as a resource. My goal is to guide the group to find common ground and form community around the profound and challenging experience of parenthood, while answering questions along the way.
Groups who are interested in scheduling a regular meet-up should reach out with a proposed location and time. If you are an individual family looking to join a group, please reach out in case of openings.
